wow, what a missed opportunity to turn to the person next to you and say, "what are *you* making?" Or to ask a kid what to make and get a fantastic/unhinged answer, like a bear with a mustache, or a fish with a giant butt. I feel like folks who are using AI this way are terrified. They think they're going to do something "wrong," or "bad," so they'd rather ask a robot than take a risk. I'm now envisioning a jar of zany prompts for people to draw from when they feel stuck. And everyone has to contribute one!
I read this with my heart shouting yes! all the way through. So depressing about your fellow pottery class students… losing the ability to think, feel or experience joy seems to be where we’re all headed.
